Established in 1976 by my father, Robert, our company has built a strong reputation for reliable, high-quality electrical work across Surrey and South West London. I joined the business in 2003, continuing our family tradition of providing professional and friendly electrical services.

Hi, I’m Andrew—a fully qualified electrician with 26 years of experience, running a family business originally founded by my dad in 1976. I took over in 2003 and have continued providing reliable, high-quality electrical work across Surrey & South West London.

I personally handle every job, ensuring a friendly, professional, and detail-focused service. These days, I prefer to specialise in smaller electrical projects, including:

Electrical Installation Condition Reports

PAT Testing

EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Reports)

As an electrician, I carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) to assess the safety and condition of electrical installations in homes and commercial properties. These inspections identify potential hazards, deterioration, and non-compliance with current regulations (BS 7671).

For homeowners, an EICR is recommended every 10 years (or when buying/selling a property) to ensure the wiring is safe.

For landlords, it’s a legal requirement to have an EICR every 5 years for rental properties, ensuring tenant safety and compliance with electrical safety regulations. Failing to meet this obligation can result in fines and difficulties renting out a property.

After the inspection, I provide a detailed report highlighting any issues, along with recommendations for remedial work if necessary. If your property needs an up-to-date EICR, feel free to get in touch.

PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing)

PAT testing ensures that electrical appliances are safe to use, helping to prevent electric shocks, fires, and equipment failures. While not always a legal requirement, it’s strongly recommended for businesses, landlords, and public spaces where electrical appliances are used by employees, tenants, or customers.

Landlords & Business Owners:

• Rental properties: While PAT testing isn’t legally required, landlords must ensure that all electrical appliances provided to tenants are safe to use. Regular PAT testing is the best way to demonstrate this.

• Workplaces & public areas: Employers have a duty under The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to maintain electrical equipment safely. PAT testing helps meet these requirements, particularly for frequently used appliances.
